Saint Sahara College of Education, Sri Muktsar Sahib is affiliated to Panjab University Chandigarh is spread over five acres of land located on Ferozpur Road, Sri Muktsar Sahib. It is recognized by National council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur. It is a Co-Educational institution and yields a good pass percentage with distinction every year. This institute is working under the aegis of Mata Sodhan Devi Educational Society since 2008.
Our society is registered under the name of SWAMI VIVEKANAND EDUCATIONAL WELFARE & CHARITABLE SOCIETY under Societies Registration Act, 1860 with Registration No. 2391. The aim of society is to provide the quality education & guidance in the most backward area of the Punjab State.

Vision

This institute was established to serve the noble course of education the main aim of providing moral, religious, cultural and social education to the teacher – trainees for the harmonious development of their personality.

Dear Students,
Our aim has always been to maintain and enhance the quality of education being imparted. We intend to compete globally. The college has been providing them with quality education that is non-stagnant in nature and has metamorphosed beautifully over time leading to new techniques and improved methodologies in teaching.

I am sure that those associated with us understand that they are prototypes for others, are learned prospective teachers and hold a social responsibility for the upliftment of society. I wish that they follow the success stories of their predecessors and contribute to the ever enhancing glory of the institution, for they are the ones who will carry this chronicled and commemorated legacy forward.
